Xtreme Oilfield Servicesis currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Swamper to join our team on a Flushby Unit in Bonnyville, Ab. As a Swamper, you will provide essential support to the operators of our Flushby Units. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the oilfield services industry while working on a consistent 7 on / 7 off shift rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the operator with the setup, operation, and maintenance of Flushby Unit equipment.
- Perform routine checks and ensure the equipment is in proper working order.
- Follow safety protocols for operations, including securing and maintaining the site.
- Handle materials, tools, and equipment during the execution of Flushby operations.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Support site preparation, including organizing and moving equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports for daily activities and equipment inspections.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (Class 3 with air brake endorsement an asset).
- Valid H2S Alive, First Aid, Gas Detections, Fall Arrest, Confined Space
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Prior oilfield or Flushby experience is considered an asset, but not required.
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to operational protocols.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with attention to detail.
- Must provide rubber steel-toed boots; all other PPE will be supplied.
