Warco Industrial, a leading provider in industrial heat transfer services, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their dynamic team in Bonnyville, Alberta. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in accounting, office administration, and customer service. As an integral member of their team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining smooth office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional service at the front desk, answering inquiries, and assisting clients or vendors with various requests.
- Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable: Manage and process incoming and outgoing payments, maintaining accurate records for financial transactions.
- Payroll: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment for employees.
- Sage 50 Accounting Program: Utilize Sage 50 for financial data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor inventory levels, update records, and assist with stock management to ensure smooth operations.
- Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Operate POS machines for transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper cash handling.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support including filing, scheduling, document preparation, and maintaining office supplies.
- Organization & Attention to Detail: Ensure all administrative processes and systems are handled efficiently and accurately.
- Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably with a background in accounting, payroll, and customer service.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, customers, and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Independence: Capable of working independently and taking initiative in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Front Desk & POS Experience: Experience in managing front desk duties and operating POS machines is highly desirable.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address daily office challenges.
Additional Information:
- Work Hours: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch).
- Location: Bonnyville, Alberta.
